Supportive Environments for Public Health and Health Promotion

The Ecogenetics and human health group (RG5) studies the interactions of genetic and epigenetic host factors with health, disease, and environmental determinants during preconception and all life courses.

With these studies, we are contributing to a better understanding of the pathophysiology of the disease, focusing on its earlier detection and prevention through modulation of extrinsic environmental factors and the implementation of more personalised and effective adjuvant therapies.
